The Alpha or Opacity value of a color controls its transparency. You can use transparency to produce a foggy scene on a waterfront.
For example, if you have two circles: a blue circle with a yellow circle on top. Changing the Opacity or Alpha value of the yellow circle lets you control how much of the blue circle you see or hide.
To change the transparency of a color swatch:
1. Double-click the color swatch you want to alter, on the Color Palette tab. The color picker opens.
